Honda Wins in Formula one Hungarian Grand Prix

After 13 previous appearances on a Formula One podium, British driver Jenson Button in his Honda Formula one machine finally came as the winner by claiming his first victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Button’s victory also gave the Honda team its first win as a Formula One constructor since 1967. Honda Motor Co. President Takeo Fukui was at the event to receive the trophy given to the winning manufacturer. (more…)

Nissan New GTR

Nissan announced new GTR today. A prototype model was displayed at the recent Tokyo Motor Show.

The car will be launched in Japan and will go on sale soon afterward in Europe and North America. However, the car reviewers say that it is not a RB engine.

Nissan is considering a twin-turbocharged, 3.7-liter V6 that produces about 450 horsepower and drives all four wheels through a seven-speed sequential gearbox. The production version of the GT-R is expected to debut at the 2007 Tokyo show.

Exporting Japanese cars to Saudi Arabia

Are there any people who are from Saudi Arabia and wish to attend a party at the Japanese Embassy with me on November 26 at Riyadh?

Members of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia and many Japanese company representatives are expected to attend. It is a 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

There was lot of work involved in exporting used cars to Saudi Arabia from Japan. Best Trading is displaying Lexus cars at the JETRO sponsored trade fair in Riyadh. Those who are living around Riyadh can come and enjoy this exhibition.

Kobe USS Auto Auction on Sunday

Recently, the USS auction hall opened even in Kobe. The auction of Kobe was opened on last Sunday.  So now every day there is car auction somewhere in Japan. Japanese people love working. (I am not that typeactually, but I have to) Working for 15 hours every day, and even on holidays is normal for Japanese.

Do you know Mitsuoka’s car?

I went to Mitsuoka Jidosya Co.,Ltd today. This company is making many individual cars and my favorite car maker.

Especially a small-size mini car is about the same size as that of a motorbike. It is suitable for cities like Tokyo which are crowded. (more…)
