Agressive Scheme of Japanese Major Vehicle Makers 2

Friday, October 5th, 2007

Japanese well-known makers always have developed a lot of vehicles and keep everyone’s eyes on their products. People who love cars did not used to regard the car as just vehicle, but as their hobby, however, we cannot see this car boom any more here except for car maniacs still being.

Agressive Scheme of Japanese Major Vehicle Makers 1

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

Today, as everyone knows, Japanese vehicle makers have expanded their business day by day. We can see almost Japanese dealers the whole world. It’s not rare that you can buy Toyota car in your country, not from Japan, and there are some cars that we cannot get in Japan because of appearance of international model like Japanese car with LHD.
I have mentioned that young people don’t own their car these days in my last post yesterday, and it is true, it is getting decreasing the numbers of registrated car in Japan.
The reason why is that, I think, it is not only parking issue but also expensive taxes on owing car and few attractive cars for them recently. According to an article on one of Japanese famous newspapers last month, young people tend to spend their weekend alone in their house and save their earning for their future because Japanese Social Security System, especially Japanese public pension plan, will be about collapsing due to many disgraceful affairs by officers of government. And one more reason I guess is that so many young people are gathering urban city, and there are the various available transportation even if we do not have car, so, there is no necessity for being owner of car near big cities.
Once in a time, owing car was in a sense that was status for everyone in Japan. After the World War II, in high growth between 1955 to 1975, population who eager to buy and purchase their own car has been getting increasing, in the time of ”Made is Japan” was not considered good quality then yet. Everyone in the world laughs at things manufactured in Japan and no one could imagine there would be so many Japanese vehicles everywhere around the world in their future days. Now, Japanese cars are loved by people living in different countries, continents and even opposite to Japan.
Japanese car company like Toyota, Nissan, Honda etc. have been no more local companies in Japan getting global and multinational ones in 21st century for their brilliant sales. Toyota is the best company in Japan nowadays, still some of makers had to change their sales strategy because of a few bad scandals and changes of laws about ecological regulation.  But totally almost Japanese car makers have been bigger and bigger year by year thanks to their close mechanical progressings.

Serious Parking Issue for All Drivers in Japan

Monday, October 1st, 2007

I cannot imagine how many people living far apart from Japan have ever visited Japan.
Once you are in Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, I think you would find it is so messy town because now we have to share so much narrow space with other people due to the highest population density around the big cities as well as Osaka and Nagoya, which are the other biggest cities. (more…)

Japanese prejudice towards foreigners

Sunday, December 18th, 2005

Many Japanese people have strange prejudice towards foreigners. Since we belong to an island country, there is surely a great cultural difference between the thinking of Japanese and people of other countries.  For example, a Japanese feels uneasy to apologize to a person of other country – where he is at a fault. That is because even though he admits the fault, the foreigners try to take advantage of the situation by claiming more than the real fault. (more…)

Summer vacation in Ishigaki Island

Tuesday, September 27th, 2005

I am sorry for the inconvenience for everyone. I took a summer holiday from 24th to 27th on September.

I went to Ishigaki (south part of Japan) which is 2,000 km far away from Tokyo (almost near Taiwan).

This island has one of the most beautiful corals in the world.  I went for swimming with my family and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Tomorrow I will go back to work.

Camping in Japan

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2005

I will go out for camping with my family on Saturday and Sunday last week. I will however try to come back soon to help you in the Japanese car auction next week. I may not be able to reply your mails on Saturday and Sunday.

I feel Canada is better for camping than Japan. Robert one of my customers and good friend from Canada had sent me his pictures of landcruiser they used for camping. I want to go to Canada by all means and enjoy camping there.
