USS Auto Auction in Tokyo, Japan

Monday, October 17th, 2005

I attended USS Tokyo auto auction last week. Then I bought one Mazda Familia. It was auction Grade “4″, however my friend Mr.Nishimura found that it was grade “R” few days ago.  I was very surprised knowing that. Of course we complained about it to USS, however, they refused our claim. They insisted that it was not a vehicle damaged in accident. I did not want to send a restored vehicle to my customer, so I cancelled the order. I had to pay 70,000 yen as cancellation fee. So the morale is buying cars in auction is sometimes risky. But we keep our customers happy even if we have to face a loss.

Deposit for Used Car Auction

Tuesday, July 5th, 2005

For those who wish to bid for used cars from auction, please note that you need a deposit at least  100,000 Yen for every car you wish to bid for. This is to protect our interest, in case you would not buy the car after we buy the car from auction for you.

We will honestly tell you about the start price at the auction and maximum price at which similar cars were sold at the previous auctions. You have to use your judgement and arrive at your bid price; also keeping in mind your budget. If you are lucky, you can bid for a price lower than average market price and you can still buy the car at that price if nobody bids higher than you and the seller is willing to sell at that price. Getting ready for UK Auto Auction

Saturday, April 23rd, 2005

Today I am still working till late night because of many mails received. I also wasted my time because one of our potential buyers sent me a bank transfer statement of 1500 GBP from UK to Japan. I thought it was a fake one. I sent him my passport copy and requested him to send his passport copy, but he did not comply with that. I told him I may have to go to UK embassy to find out more about the bank statements.

We are getting ready for UK Auto auction on 21st June in SOUTHAMPTON and 22nd June in LIVERPOOL. (more…)
